Data Engineer – USA Remote

Salt is working with a leading fashion retailer whose organization is committed to the belief that the problems our planet and society face, can be easily solved through innovation, common sense and education.

Our client has a no-ego culture and is looking to bring a skilled Data Engineer onboard and join their ever growing brand. This role is for operationally savvy technical thinkers who are passionate about Data, pipelines and all things tech. You will be embedded in the technology team and collaborate with engineers in product development, customer support, and a variety of other business teams is central to this position.

Some of the responsibilities you can find yourself involved with include building complex data pipelines, design and building data engineering solutions with GCP, BigQuery, Data Fusion etc. as well as building and deploying data pipelines on GCP to enable AI and Machine Learning capabilities.

Other tools/techs they use: Python, SQL, GCP/AWS, Data Warehousing, Solution Design, etc. Extra bonus points will be awarded for dbt, LookML/Looker, PubSub etc.
