DLP Analyst

Our client is seeking a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Program Analyst to help their goal of global renewable energy transformation. In this role, you will be responsible for leading, consulting and overseeing multiple DLP engagements. You will work on highly complex projects that require in-depth knowledge of DLP and Regulatory compliance. You will be part of a diverse team that strives to help renew and decarbonize the world!

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for leading the development, communication, and delivery of the Data discovery, Classification and Prevention technology that enable business teams, IT teams, and external partners.

· Lead operational excellence through the establishment and execution of Data Security and Data Governance principles.

· Lead continuous improvement in solution performance, reliability, compliance and efficiency.

· Strategically develops, communicates, influences business leaders and executes roadmaps that align to business strategy and measurably drives business growth through business KPIs.

· Consistently develops and grows expertise in Data Discovery, Classification and Prevention technologies.

· Strategically set the vision and lead the design and evolution of the enterprise Data Security Strategy, Data Loss Prevention and Governance.

· Accountable for the delivery of the Data Discovery and Data Loss Prevention solutions across the Vistra eco system incorporating multiple business units and locations, third party contractors and Managed service providers.

· Champion Data risk management to avoid data loss, manage access to data in a responsible way, and ensure that sensitive data is controlled and monitored.

· Provides subject matter expertise around data governance principles and disciplines for key stakeholders in support of the enterprise data governance program.

· Persuasive leader who communicates effectively and obtains buy-in across IT, the business, and external partners.

Requirements:

· 5+ years minimum of progressive experience in the discovery and protection of data in a diverse application landscape.

· 3+ years experience working with Netskope.

· 3+ years developing search queries for knowledge engineering, data classification, ediscovery or digital forensics projects.

· Knowledge of data governance best practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets, and approaches related to data protection.

· Experience driving data and information governance and management, data protection and information risk management, knowledge management, information lifecycle management, and the use of technology related to data and information.
