Position Overview

The executive team is seeking a Vice President of Product to report directly to the Chief Strategy Officer. This role is designed for a results-driven leader with deep expertise in SaaS platforms, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Big Data. The individual in this position will play a critical role in shaping the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Vision & Leadership

  • Collaborate with the CSO to define and refine the product vision.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to align and execute strategies that support overall company objectives.
  • Represent the Engineering and R&D functions to key external stakeholders.
  • Engage with customers and users to gather insights, integrating feedback into the product roadmap.
  • Strengthen organizational capabilities by recruiting, mentoring, and developing top engineering talent.
  • Oversee the company’s protectable technologies and collaborate with Legal to manage the patent portfolio.

Product Roadmap & Scalability

  • Develop and implement a scalable product roadmap with a focus on Machine Learning and Generative AI.
  • Integrate user experience and design thinking into product development processes.
  • Foster an agile development environment that promotes rapid iteration and adaptation to market trends.
  • Champion technical best practices across engineering functions, including mobile, front-end, back-end, platform, SRE, security, data engineering, and DevOps.
  • Ensure product compliance with industry standards for trust, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvements in software development, system resilience, and operational activities.
  • Balance product innovation with technical architecture to minimize debt.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to ensure freedom to innovate while managing patent risks.
  • Lead technical due diligence for potential mergers and acquisitions.
  • Serve as a thought leader by sharing technical insights and product updates with internal and external audiences.

Machine Learning & Generative AI Expertise

  • Drive the adoption of Machine Learning and Generative AI in product initiatives.
  • Leverage AI technologies to create unique competitive advantages.
  • Stay at the forefront of emerging trends in AI to maintain a competitive edge.

Partner & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Engage with strategic partners, including Google and Meta, to foster product alignment and collaborative innovation.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Manage the budget for product development initiatives.
  • Conduct ROI analysis and prioritize high-impact projects.
  • Ensure a balanced approach to budgeting that supports innovation, growth, and operational efficiency.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Cultivate a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous innovation.
  • Define and monitor key performance metrics for product development and market impact.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in SaaS platforms and AI technologies.

Skills & Abilities

  • Proven ability to integrate Machine Learning and Generative AI into scalable products.
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities with a strong focus on innovation and execution.
