Electrical Engineer

This company is an emerging leader in the development and production of high-tech wearable solutions. They are looking for a self-starter, capable and highly creative engineer with a strong work ethic, to design and develop wearable product solutions that will change the way people live and work.

This role will focus on bringing technical substance and inspiration to their Electrical Engineering team in order to help ensure that imaginative, yet credible, solutions populate our ambitious product road-map.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and development of electronics that support wearable products from initial concept through ongoing product support Capable of design, layout and modelling of assemblies (PCBAs, Cables, etc.)
• Develop and assemble non-functional and functional prototypes of systems and sub-systems.
• Analyze product requirements, and plan and estimate development activities.
• Develop clear and concise hardware specifications to meet requirements.
• Develop innovative hardware solutions to satisfy the challenging requirements for wearables products.
• Develop and execute test plans for unit testing; and work closely with the system test team to insure the delivery of high-quality design.
