Front End Software Developer – Toronto

Job Description

The Front End Software Developer will work in collaboration with their team and multiple teams within the organization, producing new and enhancing existing menu content, consumer-facing and interactive applications. The Software Developer is expected to possess high initiative and has the ability to work in a collaborative team environment and has excellent expertise and experience in software development life-cycle and quality engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Support the design and development of customized applications for direct use by customers.
• Manage, prioritize and communicate your workload and tasks to team members throughout project execution.
• Take on and learn multiple technologies and their application within their solutions.
• Participate in the solution integration testing, QA, debugging and root cause analysis.
• Contribute and receive feedback during the development life-cycle to improve products and platform.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Experience with HTML / CSS / SASS.
• Experience with modern accessibility tools and best practices.
• Experience with Git.
• Experience working within Agile development teams.
• Familiarity with interacting with REST API’s (e.g. OpenAPI specs).
• Experience with Node, webpack or gulp.
• Experience with Issue & Project Tracking Software (e.g. DevOps, Jira, etc.).
• 4+ Years Experience with React.
• Experience with Next.js and TypeScript.
