Salt has partnered with a leading motoring and cycling retailer, who are looking for a Marketing Manager to develop and execute strategic activity across all marketing and digital channels for their retail business.
Responsibilities:
Working with a variety of stakeholders across the business and working cross-functionally to support and develop marketing activity to promote their cycling business.
Support the Head of Marketing in creating strategic and engaging marketing plans and develop marketing briefs to stakeholders.
Working with both the Customer Solutions and Trading Teams in retail as well as the Planning Team to deliver on the objectives.
Responsible for creating marketing plans to support product and commercial priorities.
Analyse the customer insight and competitor analysis to ensure marketing comms answer customer pain points.
Leading the promotional process and briefing categories on the annual campaign and promotion plan, ensuring compliance with legal marketing and price establishment rules.
Owning and continuously improving the end-to-end marketing process to ensure on-time and effective delivery.
Skills
Digital campaign experience is highly beneficial/required
But Ecommerce and Omnichannel experience is beneficial
Demonstrable marketing experience at a similar level
Experience launching new product ranges and delivering campaigns for these is beneficial
Experience working cross functionally and through-the-line campaign management
Experience managing multiple projects at any one time
Previous brief writing experience preferable
Ability to analyse customer insight to inform decision making
Knowledge or experience in the relevant industry
