Senior Product Marketing Manager

Head of Product Marketing Manager – £85,000 – £100,000 plus additional

A leader in technology and innovation, this financial services, cryptocurrency, and industry expert client is looking to make their first Senior Product Marketing Manager hire for a new arm of a growing business. This is a VC backed scale up who is building out a new team of entrepreneurial industry leaders to take a new product to market. This role is is an international role with a particular focus on the UK, US, and APAC.

The Role

The product is a data and insights led product that will be offered to the financial services industry with a particular focus on investment funds. It is a hands-on role initially where you will own the full end to product marketing cycle, but this is a blank canvas and ideal for someone who is seeking to build out or has experience in building out a product marketing strategy from scratch. This role will have a strong element in lead generation, and you will open new doors and partnerships in the financial services space through delivering a strong product marketing strategy.

The ideal candidate will have experience in working with a B2B SaaS company or similar and you will have working with client in the financial services space. Industry experience in the Crypto space and international experience is desired. You will have previous experience working in a hands-on role and can showcase a successful product marketing build from scratch. You will be comfortable working a flat structure with like minded individuals who can work collaboratively. You will not shy away from the challenge and is not fazed by a start-up environment.

Responsibilities

• Devise and execute go-to-market plans across their various markets
• Develop and execute best-in-class go-to-market campaigns to support international launches
• Involved at ideation phase, ensuring market need & value proposition are clearly defined
• Enforce the brand guidelines across all collateral
• Responsible for the product marketing approach end-to-end, working with business leaders, data science, product, and engineers. You will be a marketing team of 1 to start with.
• Oversee the execution of targeted and effective email marketing campaigns, using triggers and automation, including ongoing optimisation and reporting
• Utilise social media channels. ensuring audience and engagement growth in line with KPIs
• Create offline collateral, including brochures and flyers, from copy through to distribution
• Research, oversee and evaluate direct marketing campaigns (offline and digital), including working with sales teams for follow up and campaign metric reporting
• Manage relationships with senior stakeholders within the Group, securing buy-in for marketing initiatives

Key Skills & Requirements

• Significant experience in product marketing ideally B2B SaaS and the Crypto space
• Can effectively create new leads with financial services companies such as Investment funds
• Previous experience working across international markets such as UK, US and Asia
• Proven track record of successfully building a product marketing function from scratch and delivered consistent growth
• Relevant experience that spans product marketing, content marketing, brand management or other roles where you were involved in taking technology products to market, including product or brand marketing work experience
• The intellectual heft to handle what’s potentially a difficult, technical area (crypto and specifically crypto compliance) and act as a thought partner to Product / Tech leadership

This role allows 2 days working from home and 3 days office based (London)
