My client is looking for a highly professional and skilled Solution Architect. As a Solution Architect, you will play an essential role in designing and implementing scalable and efficient solutions to meet the organisation’s business needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, to deliver technical solutions. This role involves a good understanding of both business and technology, requiring the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
You will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid model, allowing for a blend of remote and in-office work to support a good work-life balance.
Some travels (e.g. 1-2 days per trimester) may be required.
We are looking for someone with the following skills and abilities:
University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Sciences.
5+ years of industry experience, preferably in technology architecture roles in complex organisations.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
In-depth knowledge of micro-services, Service Oriented Architecture.
In-depth knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, design patterns.
In depth knowledge of applications design.
Experience with architecture methodologies and frameworks (e.g Zachman, TOGAF).
Experience with security principles applied to architecture.
Experience with modelling techniques using industry standard notations (ArchiMate, UML, BPMN, etc.)
Experience in relational databases (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL)
Experience in development of Java or .NET web-based applications.
Experience with architecture modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent writing and oral communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently and in team setting with competing deadlines.

Your responsibilities
Responsibilities may be subject to change depending on the evolution of priorities and projects.
Design IT solutions that meet the functional and non-functional requirements.
Ensure the proposed solution is in line with the existing policies and standards.
Assess and select appropriate technologies and platforms.
Create and maintain technical blueprints, diagrams, and documentation.
Assist in business requirements gathering, negotiating, prioritising, documenting, analysing.
Monitor the technical execution of projects from initiation to completion, in close collaboration with the project team.
Advising project teams on best practices.
Identifying risks in the regarding the technical solution and facilitate decisions in the evaluation of different solutions.
Participate in architecture governance by contributing to the necessary governance processes or supporting existing governance boards.
Work with other architects on enterprise architecture efforts.
