Our client is a prominent retailer in the Australian market, currently undergoing a major digital transformation that is reshaping their ecommerce operations. With an eagerly anticipated new app launch and a brand-new CMS, we are seeking a CMS Specialist to help migrate existing content from their current CMS and curate new content for the app.

Role Overview:

You will play a pivotal role in managing daily content updates within the CMS while overseeing the successful implementation of the new CMS platform as part of a larger Ecommerce program.

You will have a solid understanding of technology and you’ll be responsible for managing and maintaining the CMS by uploading and updating App content, Web content, Copy, Graphics, and Photography assets.

Your expertise will ensure a smooth transition of content across both app and web channels, maintaining consistency and accuracy throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Management & Migration: Lead the planning and execution of the CMS migration, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and consistency, while managing daily content requirements in the current CMS.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team, including designers, developers, and project managers, to deliver a cohesive content experience across all digital channels.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks on content to ensure alignment with brand guidelines, SEO best practices, and overall content strategy.
  • CMS Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert for the CMS (Contentful), providing insights and solutions to optimise its use.

Experience Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in content management, ideally within Ecommerce or retail sectors.
  • Good knowledge of CMS Systems – Contentful, Sitecore, AEM, Umbraco etc
  • Experience in task management software eg. Trello, Monday
