We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our client’s Mobile Platform team-the driving force behind the components, patterns, and shared experiences that power a mobile app used by millions of Australians. In this role, you’ll tackle complex platform-wide design challenges, partner closely with cross-functional teams, and help shape a culture that values experimentation, initiative, and continuous improvement.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility opportunity. We’re seeking a designer with strong design thinking skills-someone who’s comfortable framing ambiguous problems, mapping user journeys, and iterating rapidly in low fidelity before evolving ideas into intuitive, elegant wireframes and polished solutions.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the design of flagship mobile apps on iOS and Android
• Own end-to-end design projects across the full lifecycle
• Using research and testing to inform evidence-based design decisions
• Build and test interactive prototypes to validate design thinking
• Apply inclusive design principles to ensure accessibility for all users
• Use and contribute to a robust mobile design system
• Present design concepts and customer insights to stakeholders and cross-functional partners
• Mentor junior designers, championing a culture of growth and collaboration

What you’ll bring:

We’re seeking a designer with strong design thinking capabilities-someone who’s confident in framing complex problems, mapping intuitive user flows, and rapidly prototyping in low fidelity before translating ideas into thoughtful, high-impact solutions.

You’ll ideally bring:

• A solid track record of designing for native mobile platforms (iOS and/or Android), as well as hybrid apps and web interfaces
• 4+ years’ experience designing and delivering digital products end-to-end within cross-functional teams
• Deep knowledge of human-centered design, usability testing, and agile methodologies
• Experience using design systems in large-scale digital environments
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
• A user-first mindset with a drive to simplify and improve everyday digital experiences
• Preferred: experience building or maintaining mobile design systems
