We’re on the lookout for a highly skilled, creative, and tech-savvy video production specialist to join a VR video production team in Sydney. This senior role is perfect for someone with professional experience across editing, compositing, VFX, and video production. You should thrive on variety, embraces innovation, and love pushing creative boundaries.

What You’ll Do

Working closely with the Head of Studio, you’ll play a key role in bringing VR, 3D and 2D video projects to life. On any given day, you might be:

• Editing immersive VR video content
• Working with 360° video formats and ensuring flawless delivery through detailed QC
• Encoding assets for VR with precision
• Performing compositing tasks like keying, masking, patching, and simple paint-outs
• Creating basic 2D motion graphics in After Effects
• Building VR experiences in E-Learning platforms
• Cutting together engaging promotional content and case studies
• Helping to design and maintain VR post-production pipelines
• Managing project backups, archives, and server storage
• Work on location as a VR camera operator

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on experience with VR and 360° videos (you will have used VR and understand immersive formats)
• Premiere Pro and Adobe CC expertise on Windows
• Working knowledge of VR video formats (beneficial, not essential)
• After Effects and Photoshop skills for design and motion tasks
• Confidence with compositing (masking, roto, green screen keying)
• Understanding of 3D file formats and CG fundamentals
• Strong grasp of encoding standards (bitrates, file types, compression)
• Meticulous attention to detail with exceptional QC and feedback handling skills
• A proactive approach to learning new tech and workflows
• Comfortable with camera gear setup and operation
