Communications Consultant

Salt is looking for a Communications & Engagement Lead to conduct relations for a Government body that is responsible for disaster prevention, relief & recovery management in NSW.

Salary: $800 – $900/day (flexible) + Superannuation

Length: 6-month contract

Location: Based in Sydney Olympic Park or Lismore & Far North Coast

Role & Responsibilities

The Communications and Engagement Lead is responsible for leading and providing communications and engagement support to the temporary housing and structural repair grant program. The role is critical in implementing the following:

* Provide advice on engagement planning

* Develop and implement engagement plans and collateral

* Develop proactive media to promote housing programs

* Monitor and respond to stakeholder feedback

We are looking for someone who is a self-starter and has proven experience in communications and engagement, ensuring the community and stakeholders have clear consistent communications about the temporary housing program.
