Marketing Operations Manager / Project Manager

Our client is a global fintech disrupting the market for years with its innovative BNPL solution for facilitating purchases between retail consumers and businesses. They create seamless transactions for over 16 million (and growing) customers worldwide.

Spanning across ANZ, UK & Canada, you will ensure smooth planning, execution, and optimisation of campaigns for maximum impact.

What Will You Be Doing?

• Champion operational excellence across regional marketing teams – identifying smarter ways to plan, execute, and measure success.
• Lead complex cross-functional initiatives, managing timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables like a pro.
• Partner with Marketing, Product, Analytics, Finance, and more to build systems, tools, and workflows that drive better, faster outcomes.
• Lead planning and prioritisation across marketing, spotting potential blockers early and finding solutions before they become problems.
• Build dashboards and tracking systems to monitor performance, share actionable insights, and inform strategic decisions.
• Support marketing leadership as a trusted operational partner – helping regional leads plan campaigns, allocate resources, and continuously improve.
• Bring a strategic lens to everything you do, helping Afterpay scale our marketing operations across multiple regions with confidence and clarity.

About you:

• 8+ years of experience in marketing operations, project management, or a similar strategic operations role in a high-growth environment.
• B2C experience in retail, fintech or tech is preferred but not essential.
• Proven success leading cross-functional projects independently – from brainstorming to final delivery.
• Analytical and data-driven – you use numbers to find insights and technology to unlock better ways of working.
• Confident navigating systems and platforms like Airtable, Tableau, Salesforce – and collaborating with tech and data teams to build smarter workflows.
