Application Support Analyst

Seeking a Level 2 Application Support Analyst: Cherwell Expert & Change Management Champion to Join a leading Melbourne-based not-for-profit health insurance company and contribute to exceptional member service through seamless application operations.

THE ROLE:

  • Provide Level 2 application support, adhering to ITIL best practices for incident, problem, change, and event management.
  • Collaborate effectively with third-party vendors to resolve issues and optimize application performance.
  • Partner with the Enterprise Application Manager to plan, document, and report on daily operations.
  • Proactively monitor alerts and contribute to continuous improvement of the Cherwell monitoring service.
  • Develop and maintain essential operational documentation, including policies and procedures.
  • Lead collaborative efforts on application maintenance, deployment, and patching.
  • Guide software upgrades and documentation enhancements in partnership with vendors and stakeholders.
  • Meticulously manage information assets and licenses, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2 years of Level 2 application support experience.
  • In-depth understanding of Cherwell and ITIL principles.
  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Splunk).
  • Familiarity with DevOps processes using Jenkins.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies (e.g., Sprint, Scrum) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative spirit and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Financial or insurance industry experience.
  • Experience with Telephony, CMS, CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of OnPrem SharePoint administration.
  • Training or experience with Oracle Health Insurance service.
  • Skills in testing, database management, or automation.
