Associate Director – Finance Data Analysis

The key objective of the role is to;

• Develop customer centric finance solutions and support the delivery of a quality customer service
• Support the digitalisation and modernisation of Finance and enable better outcomes for their customers and teams
• Enhance quality and relevance of management information that support key customer decisions

Key responsibilities

• Be a passionate advocate for the customer and end user experience
• Collaborating with enterprise data teams to deliver exceptional customer reporting
• Can apply an entrepreneurial approach and passion to problem solving and solution development
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Agile approach to analysis & problem solving – able to source and use relevant information (internal and external) to identify problems and offer sustainable solutions
• Understanding business needs, facilitating, and developing process workflow and data requirements
• Bringing data together, cleanse & makes it available on one platform that can be accessed by FPs and business heads.
• Embed a robust and structured framework to deliver sustainable and significant technology and business change.
• Analyse end to end data flows and processes, including process mapping, requirement writing, testing etc.
• Supporting the data specialists with Finance and business knowledge.
• Work closely with the finance team control to drive projects and deliver solutions which will enable our future operating model.
• Works with Finance stakeholders and SMEs to document Finance Requirements, Solution design discussions, works with technology teams, UAT testing planning and coordination; and Go Live implementation.
• Analyse and made recommendations on improvements for end-to-end finance processes and services.

Experience

• 5+ years in solution/data delivery role supporting Finance
• Strong data & reporting implementation experience in an institutional banking environment highly regarded
• Understanding of lending products / deposits and how to enable management reporting e2e will be very beneficial
• Experience as a Product Owner or being part of an enterprise data program delivery squad well regarded
