AV Technician

• Global, Household Name in the Streaming Industry
• 12 month contract opportunity- possibility of extension/conversion to perm down the line
• Offering: $470-600 including super per day
• Location: 5 days a week onsite in Chippendale Office

What you’ll be doing?

• Maintenance and troubleshooting of AV hardware and software
• Maintenance and setup of event spaces, conference rooms, huddle rooms and phone booths
• Onsite and Offsite event AV setup and support
• Work closely with an experienced AV Engineer in Sydney, as well as a wider AV team spread across APAC
• Support internal teams / members with all matters of AV / IT support
• Maintain inventory of AV equipment and communicate with AV vendors
• Play a role in the commissioning of AV equipment
• Assist with day-to-day IT support, resolving hardware and software issues (Laptop and Phones) and escalate IT issues to an IT Support team located remotely in the APAC region where necessary

What you’ll bring?

• 3+ years of AV support experience in a corporate environment
• Experience with Crestron control systems, audio DSPs, and Dante/AES microphone systems.
• Experience with Google Meet Conference room equipment (or Zoom or Webex)
• An understanding of networking, video transmission, and audio/video signal flow.
• Proven experience supporting internal team members for all matters of AV and IT support
• A strong focus on the customer experience
• Experience using IT ticketing systems like Jira and Zendesk.
