Our client is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join their high performing team on an initial 6-month contract. To be successful in this role you must be confident working with Data and Analytics and you have proven experience working within AWS environments.
Objectives:
- Apply analytics expertise within AWS environment including data cleansing, descriptive analysis, predictive analysis and visualizations.
- Execute ad-hoc projects to identify industry trends, customer impact of potential commercial changes and be able to deliver this and similar research in clear and business-focused formats.
- Support daily reporting and enhance efficiency of business plan to streamline processes
- Execute and own data strategy where necessary
- Create customer centric deployment templates for AWS related to Data strategy.
- Substantiate and reconcile reports with clear documentation. Resolve discrepancies independently and demonstrate a keen eye for numerical detail.
- Document and address information sourcing inconsistencies and inefficiencies.
- Actively work to expand customer view with value-added data.
Requirements:
- Proficient in data analytics applications of regression, variable reduction, and machine learning.
- Competent using AWS Product Suite (Aurora, S3)
- Competent in gathering and distributing metadata
- Experience with Tableau or other data visualization software.
- creating repeatable and modular ETL Job patterns (Talend preferable)
- Proficient in presenting complex data in visual and meaningful ways to clients and customers.
- Working knowledge of reporting and analytics across assigned Scrum delivery
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
