Cloud Data Platform Engineer

Our client, a global financial services group, is looking for a Cloud Data Platform Engineer to join Data Platforms Team to contribute to building the best technology business in financial services.

As a Cloud Platform Engineer you will be developing, testing, and deploying code and performing release planning and execution for data platforms team.

What makes you a good fit

• 5+ years of experience in AWS cloud technologies especially S3, EC2, EKS
• Experience with Spark, Hadoop, Presto and/or Hive and Airflow
• Experience with SDLC tools (e.g. Bamboo, Jenkins, JIRA, GIT, Confluence)
• Firm grasp of Agile methodologies and DevOps mindset, with a drive to automate processes and workflows
• Ability to communicate problems and solutions effectively with both business and technical colleagues
• Troubleshooting and providing support in diagnosing and resolving software malfunctions
