This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) platform focussing on designing and building data integration and ETL solutions while performing quality assurance testing to ensure the data is correct.

This role will be part of the Information Management Team and help deliver quality data analysis services to the business. The Information Management Team covers a wide area of data analysis and application code development and key application foundation services.

Responsibilities:

• Define the Data and Data Warehouse strategy
• Pro-actively engage with various business stakeholders to encourage adoption and automation using the Information Management services

• Providing support for all aspects of IT Information Management services offered

• Ensure clear processes are in place for new request management
• Analyse, Design, Code, Test, Deploy and Integrate data analytical areas within the Data Warehouse
• Identify potential faults within the Data Warehouse and take a proactive approach to address the issue
• Administer and apply data-fixes to both internally and externally developed business-critical systems
• Assist Report developers in creating and support BI reports and dashboards
• Provide general leadership in area of expertise. Assist in designing development standards and processes.
• Provide training and mentorship to other developers and staff

• Provide IT reporting as required

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in Information Systems, Computing Science or similar
• Strong data analysis, discovery and problem solving skills
• Previous experience with architect standards for data and data warehouse using dimensional modelling
• Understanding of various Datawarehouse methodologies such as Data Vault and Kimball
• 8+ years designing and developing large Data Warehouse Solutions including ETL design and data modelling
• Experience in Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL DW, and Azure SQL, Azure App Service, Azure Cosmos DB, Power Automate, Logic Apps
• 3+ years’ experience with developing reports in Power BI
• 5+ years writing and optimizing custom SQL (T-SQL and Oracle PL/SQL) queries including creation and support of stored procedures
• Fundamental Azure SQL and Oracle SQL database administration skills
