DevOps Engineer

Our Global Tech Client is on the hunt for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their team on an initial 9-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to utilise and built upon your existing skills in a supportive and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in Saas platforms with a drive to excel in a fast- paced environment.

Responsibilities:

You’ll partner with our Product and Platform Engineering teams in building, optimizing and securing our infrastructure and development workflows.
Help implement monitoring and alerting for our infrastructure, services and applications.
Document infrastructure, policies and procedures; including changes to that which currently exists.
Continually investigate new tools and practices that will help developer productivity.
Develop, maintain, and support the code and infrastructure for our CI/CD pipelines
Develop, maintain, and support the code that automates the deployment of our infrastructure
Manage and maintain our production infrastructure (i.e., AWS AzureGCPinfrastructure as well as infrastructure for monitoring, log aggregation, managing on-call rotations, and publishing status information about the service)

Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
3-5 years of systems engineering experience
Expertise with Infrastructure as Code (Chef, Terraform, Puppet, Ansible)
Linux OS experience (CentOS/RedHat, Ubuntu)
Fluency in a scripting language (Ruby, Python, Bash, JavaScript, Golang)
Experience with Monitoring and Metrics (Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic)
Familiarity with network file systems (NFS, Gluster, EFS)
Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECR, EKS)
Build Support for engineering teams (Bamboo, Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild)
Full understanding with entire software delivery lifecycle
