Senior Business Analyst

THE ROLE:

· The Senior BA will be joining the team during the Program establishment phase for one of Australia’s leading energy companies.

· The candidate will play a critical role in breaking the work down from Epics in Requirements, then User Stories. The candidate must have excellent communication and be able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

· Needs to be able to deal with ambiguity and adapt to complex environments.

· Prior experience in the Energy Industry will give you the upper hand and industry experience.

· Requirements gathering Functional & Non-Functional.

· Business Process Modelling.

· Business-Level, creating business process flow diagrams e.g. BPMN.

· Software-Level, how the software system supports the business workflows through functional requirements models like use cases and wireframes.

· Information-Level, or how data and information are stored and maintained by an organization, completed by data modelling techniques including, data dictionary, data map, and system context diagram.

· Development of related User stories based on the above analysis.

· Facilitating workshops with a wide range of stakeholders.

· Updating and maintaining information Jira and Confluence.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

· Previous experience working with an Australian Energy company or Energy retailer will be highly regarded.

· Hybrid working model Agile and Waterfall.

· Requirements gathering Functional & Non-Functional .

· Business Process Modelling.

· Business-Level, creating business process flow diagrams e.g. BPMN

· Software-Level, how the software system supports the business workflows through functional requirements models like use cases and wireframes.

· Information-Level, or how data and information are stored and maintained by an organization, completed by data modelling techniques including, data dictionary, data map, and system context diagram.

· Development of related User stories based on the above analysis.

· Facilitating workshops with a wide range of stakeholders.

· World class communication dealing with key stakeholders.

· Updating and maintaining information Jira and Confluence.
