Senior Full Stack Engineer – Melbourne – $120-130K + 17% Super

The Company

Salt is excited to have teamed up with a well known Tertiary Education Institution based in Melbourne, who is currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join one of their digital Engineering team on a permanent basis.

The Role

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you’ll be joining our Education client’s Engineering team, where you’ll help with the development of an exciting conversational AI Chatbot for students. As a Senior Engineer, you will primarily be focused across Backend (60-70%) development and will also be required to help mentor the junior members of the team.

Key Skills and Competencies

The successful Senior Full Stack Engineer should have the following skill set;

Expertise in both Backend and Frontend related technologies
Extensive experience with Node.js
Strong knowledge of JavaScript and React.js
Hands-on experience with TypeScript
Experienced in designing and developing RESTful APIs and Micro services
Hands-on experience working with Public Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS or Azure)
Experience working in an Agile environment
Full working rights for Australia
