SALARY – 140k-150K+ super + KPI (dependent on experience)

The Role:

As the Solution Architect you will be joining the Network Services team and will be responsible for all design and technical aspects related to network services and solutions of bids and requests for proposals of enterprise in the APAC region. You will also have a strong background in designing large enterprise network solutions within a large scale (ideally multi-national) technology services environment.

Although the role is across “global network” you will be primarily based from the Sydney office, however you will need to undertake frequent customer visits and occasional international travel (but travel will be minimum).

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

• Identify customer needs, define customer requirements, and create networking solutions to customers emphasizing on our value proposition, differentiators and services (such as SD-WAN, NFV-enabled Cloud-based Network Services, DMVPN, Managed internet services)
• Own solution design and transition of projects from presales to delivery functions – the full end to end cycle
• Conduct network strategic review, identify and introduce suitable technologies, solutions and strategies to strengthen my clients business proposals to both new and existing clients
• Support country sales teams to close large and complex network deals

Relevant Skills and Experience Required:

• Strong working knowledge and experience of network protocols and monitoring tools
• R&S – Juniper, Cisco, Cumulus (any combination)
• Firewalls – ASA, SRX
• Load Balancers – F5
• Experience in designing large – geographically distributed enterprise network solutions within a large scale (preferably multi-national) technology services environment.Ability to articulate proposed solutions clearly via RFP proposal and deliver presentation with confidence.

Desirable:

• Virtualization, Python scripting, Openstack , Containers, Dockers, Kubernates – Any experience or knowledge across these technologies would be very handy
• Experience working in a virtual team environment with geographically dispersed members
• Experience with emerging technologies such as NFV/SD-WAN
• Experience in global ICT service providers/carriers or SI-ers
