Our client is a global software giant, leading the industry delivering software products and services.

They’re now looking for a motivated and pro-active Senior Technical Account Executive to join their team. Ideal candidates will be a driven team player with a desire to succeed in the tech industry.

The Senior Technical Account Manager will be responsible for engaging with enterprise customers as the point of contact for technical support, as well as delivering advice and guidance to support the fulfilment of their business objectives with the technology. To achieve this, you will understand their specific technical requirements and prepare a Service Delivery Plan to guide the customer though the implementation and adoption of the tech, while anticipating and avoiding issues.

You may also get the opportunity to travel to customers on site, (within Aus) to improve customer experience.

Key responsibilities of this position:

  • Delivery of dedicated services from a mutually agreed Service Delivery Plan.
  • First point of escalation for customer concerns relating to technical issues
  • Customer advocate representing customer needs with internal product teams
  • Coordinating/driving customer technical issues with customer care/engineering/consulting
  • Avoid serious critical issues, by providing timely resolution to technical and product inquires
  • Record and document all issues related to customers within established process guidelines
  • Coordinate with Support leaders to trouble-shoot/qualify cases before raising to Engineering
  • Periodic travel a requirement (minimal)

What you need to succeed:

  • Minimum 5 years experience working in sophisticated enterprise technology environments in consulting / support / account management / development roles.
  • Outstanding presentation skills, and experience organising and handling high-profile customer calls and meetings.
  • ITIL knowledge and Certification preferred.
  • Curiosity, proactive attitude, and a desire to lead.
