Technical Lead

Salt is partnered with a leading global provider of data storage and data management solutions. Known for innovative solutions in storage technologies, the organisation enables customers to store, manage, and protect their data efficiently, both on-premises and in cloud environments.

Now hiring for a Technical lead to lead large-scale storage projects, troubleshooting technical issues, and acting as a key advisor during incident and problem management processes. The role also includes strategic consulting on hybrid cloud, disaster recovery, and data migration initiatives, while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders and providing mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design, implementation, and troubleshooting of large-scale storage environments with NetApp technologies.
• Act as the senior technical liaison during incident management and provide problem-solving expertise.
• Deliver strategic consulting on data management, cloud storage solutions (Google Cloud), and disaster recovery.
• Develop and implement NetApp clusters and best practices, including expertise in MetroCluster, FlexCache, and FlexGroups.
• Manage data migrations and hybrid cloud integration.
• Provide mentorship and build strong relationships with stakeholders and customers.

Experience & Education

• Extensive experience (10+ years) in storage solutions.
• Master’s in Computer Science, or related degree.
• Experience in regulated financial environments, automation workflows, and change control processes.
• Extensive experience with NetApp solutions (AFF, ONTAP, SnapCenter, Cloud ONTAP, etc.).
• Deep knowledge of hybrid cloud, disaster recovery, NAS, and SAN solutions.
• Proficient in scripting languages like Ansible, Perl, or PowerShell.
• Proven success in managing technical projects and leading remote operational teams.
• Certifications: NCDA ONTAP, NCIE SAN, NCSIE, NCSA-HC, Google Cloud.
