We are seeking an experienced Test Manager to lead testing activities for a large-scale payroll system implementation, including UKG Kronos Workforce Management. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver on a critical initiative with one of Australia’s leading organisations.

WHAT’S ON OFFER

• 💰 Daily Rate: Up to $900 per day (initial 6-month contract)
• 📍 Location: Hybrid – Melbourne preferred
• 📊 Deliver a robust end-to-end test strategy for payroll systems
• 👥 Lead and mentor a testing team through SIT and UAT phases

THE ROLE:

As the Test Manager, you will take ownership of testing for a major payroll system implementation. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing the end-to-end testing strategy to support a seamless deployment.

Working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams, you will drive high-quality outcomes and ensure testing aligns with critical project milestones.

✅ Develop and execute the overall test strategy and detailed test plans for the payroll implementation.
✅ Manage test environments, data preparation, and defect triage processes.
✅ Lead and mentor a testing team across functional and technical streams.
✅ Provide regular status reporting, including test progress, risks, and quality metrics.
✅ Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure testing aligns with business requirements.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience as a Test Manager on payroll and workforce management system implementations (UKG Kronos highly desirable).
• Knowledge of payroll platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Workday, Chris21 (iChris), Aurion, ADP, or similar.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to deliver in fast-paced, complex project environments.
• Excellent planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
