XR Full Stack Developer

Are you a passionate and skilled full stack developer eager to push the boundaries of immersive technology and art.

Salt is proud to be working with a fantastic immersive technology company who are searching for a XR Full Stack Developer to join their growing business. In this business-critical role, you will work at the forefront of designing and developing cutting-edge AR/VR/3D experiences. You’ll work on real time graphics projects and be required to integrate artistic vision with technical prowess; craft engaging user experiences and build high-performance web applications.

What you’ll be doing:

• Collaborate with artists, designers, and other engineers to bring creative concepts to life.
• Develop and maintain high-performance and responsive web applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges effectively.

What you’ll bring to the team:

• A strong understanding of real-time graphics and rendering techniques, including shaders.
• Proficiency in XR development technologies, including AR/VR frameworks such as 8th Wall, Niantic Lightship, Immersal, and Snap Lens Studio.
• Strong front-end development skills with expertise in React, Preact, Tailwind CSS, WebGL, Babylon.js, and Three.js.
• Solid back-end development experience, with familiarity with AWS, Microservices, Serverless architectures, and multi-user networking.
• Exposure to photogrammetry and spatial mapping techniques would be beneficial
• A keen interest in the potential of AI inference and AI agents within immersive experiences.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
