Technical Author (SOW/Analyst/Legal) – Finance – Remote

Day rate: £400 – £700 (INSIDE IR35)

Duration: 3 – 6 months

Start: ASAP

The purpose of this role is to work as part of the Technology workstream and author the Statement of Work relating to the SI Partner who we are looking to onboard in Q4 /Q1. You will be delivering a critical deliverable for the programme in this busy and fast paced environment.

• Key Responsibilities:
  • Creating the technical definition within the statement of work between us and the selected SI Partner
  • Working with different stakeholders and gathering technical and non-technical information from multiple sources to create the Statement of Work
  • Documentation of the specific work packages & deliverables, measurable acceptance criteria
  • Producing the Statement of Work including sufficient clarity and detail to ensure that should a dispute subsequently arise interest are protected
  • Detailing any scope or SoW risks for acceptance by our stakeholders

Qualifications

Educated to degree level in a relevant subject, or hold an equivalent professional qualification

Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in a Technical Author role
• Demonstratable experience of working with 3rd partners in a Technical environment
• Demonstratable experience relating to matters around legal/contracting
• Experience of working within financial services or Fintech.
• Ability to interface with senior stakeholders effectively to establish relationships and become a trusted advisor.
• Ability to produce Board and Executive level risk reports
• An ability to apply technical knowledge in a practical and balanced manner
• Independently minded and able to challenge constructively and professionally
