My client has one mission – to make kids read better. I am looking for a Social Media Manager, with a passion for purpose driven initiatives, to join this ambitious start-up. In an ideal world you’ll come from an educational background, but this isn’t a deal breaker.

The Role:

· Day-to-day management of all Social Media channels including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, as well as launching new channels as you think are relevant

· Reach out to, engage, and attract communities across various platforms in order to raise brand awareness

· Work across multiple countries and demographics

· Use social listening tools to report and measure success, and set KPI’s to monitor performance

· Use data to inform future decisions

· Produce social media assets including imagery, video, and copy

· Keep on top of latest digital trends ensuring the content created is relevant and best in class

The Person:

· Previous experience as a Social Media Manager within brand or agency

· Thorough professional knowledge of tactics and best practices within social media

· Proven ability to engage and grow a community

· Knowledge of SEO and keywork optimization

· Impeccable writing and grammar skills with ability to communicate effectively

· Educational experience a plus

· Experience of working in a fast growth start-up a plus

· Adobe Suite a plus
