Technical SEO Manager (Contract)

Salt has partnered with Leading Global Digital Marketing Agency helping brands create a total brand experience from start to finish. You will join the search team as a SEO Contractor supporting the Head of SEO.

You’ll be the primary point of contact for all technical queries relating to SEO, forming a key part of multi-disciplinary client portfolio teams delivering SEO campaigns to groups of clients. The team also works to provide SEO input to website build projects, working alongside UX, design and development teams.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the implementation and delivery of technical SEO recommendations by clients, including working with client stakeholders and creating business cases to support where required

• Support clients with new website launches, website migrations, CMS changes, retiring websites, and all other elements of technical SEO

• Regular communication with clients supporting them with day-to-day technical advice and guidance

• Keep up-to-date with industry and technical developments, and integrate these into client campaigns

• Share knowledge derived from client campaigns and research with fellow team members; coach and develop more junior members of the team

• Attending pitches

• Identify and act upon cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within clients

Skills:

• At least 3-4 years’ experience in a similar role with technical SEO as a key area of focus

• Expert level of technical SEO knowledge

• Knowledge and experience of technical SEO, including: on-page markup, URL structure & site architecture, redirect strategies, structured mark-up such as Schema.org, XML Sitemaps, local, mobile, and search engine algorithms

• In-depth familiarity with Google Search Console

• Experience with website crawling tools such as Screaming Frog and/or DeepCrawl

• Hands on experience with Google Analytics

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Contract Length: 6 Months

Day Rate: £350 a day
