A leading global technology services and consulting firm is seeking a seasoned Account Executive to drive strategic growth for a major financial services account based in Toronto. With a strong presence in over 65 countries and a workforce of more than 230,000 professionals, this organization helps clients solve complex digital transformation challenges through innovation in consulting, design, engineering, and operations.
This role sits within the Banking & Financial Services sector and is ideal for a strategic, results-driven professional with a strong track record of growing large accounts and building trusted advisor relationships at the C-suite level.
Key Responsibilities
* Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture senior executive relationships across business lines, becoming a trusted advisor to key stakeholders.
* Strategic Growth Leadership: Drive vision, annual account planning, and proactive identification of growth opportunities to ensure account profitability and client satisfaction.
* Account Planning & Budgeting: Own the end-to-end account planning process, collaborating with internal sales and industry leaders to align with broader business goals.
* Business Development: Lead contract renewals and expand the account through new service offerings and innovation.
* Delivery Oversight: Ensure seamless execution of services and adherence to quality standards, coordinating across global delivery teams.
* Thought Leadership & Innovation: Engage with industry forums and alliance partners, presenting proof of concepts and value propositions to reinforce client confidence and differentiate the organization.
Required Qualifications
* 12+ years of experience in selling and managing IT services to C-level executives in the Banking & Financial Services sector.
* Proven success in an Account Executive or similar client-facing role with direct P&L responsibility and a focus on driving revenue growth, bookings, and operating margins.
* Extensive experience across a broad portfolio of services including Cloud, Data, Analytics, Infrastructure, AMS, Artificial Intelligence, and Cybersecurity.
* Demonstrated ability to exceed revenue and profitability targets while building long-term client relationships.
* Strong understanding of global delivery models and ability to effectively collaborate with offshore teams.
* Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional internal teams.
* Must be based in the Greater Toronto Area.
