Intermediate Infrastructure Project Manager (5 month Contract)

Intermediate Infrastructure Project Manager (Contract – October 2023 to 31 March 2024)

Must Have:

* Valid PMP certification
* 7-10 years experience working in an operational technology/ infrastructure environment
* 5 years experience managing work-packages and small to medium sized work plans and schedules
* 3-5 years experience leading operational technology teams

Location and Hours:

* Remote (work from home)
* 8 hours daily, Monday to Friday (excluding stat holidays and mandatory vacation time off)
* Core business hours are between 8:00 am-4:30 pm (central standard time)

Responsibilities:

* Provide support to members of the Technology Services management team, including documentation, project controls, KPIs, forecasting
* Maintenance of small to medium sized work plans and schedules
* Liaise with technology staff, vendors and business end-users to gather information required to manage and coordinate operational documentation and presentations for ITS Senior Leadership
* Assist with communicating relevant and up to date departmental information to various stakeholders and team members
* Assist with documentation reviews/proofreading
* Create presentations and workflow diagrams

Required Experience and Skills:

* PMP certification
* Prince2 certification considered an asset
* 7-10 years experience working in an operational technology / infrastructure environment
* 5 years experience managing work-packages and small to medium size initiatives
* 3-5 years experience leading operational technology teams
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience working with Power Point & Visio

Additional Requirements:

* Must have own Windows based computer with standard Windows applications (Windows 10 or higher)
* Must possess own communication device
* Must have licenses Visio software on own computer device
