Senior ServiceNow Developer | 8-Month Contract | Canada EST
Our client is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join a dynamic technology consulting firm that partners with leading enterprises to drive digital transformation. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing a large-scale ServiceNow platform, ensuring optimal performance and functionality across ITSM modules, Workspaces, and the App Engine.
The end client is a prominent financial services and insurance provider focused on delivering innovative digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Support & Bug Fixing: Troubleshoot platform issues, resolve bugs, and maintain system stability.
* Enhancement Backlog Management: Implement scalable and maintainable solutions for a structured backlog of over 100 enhancement requests.
* Workspace Implementation: Optimize and expand ServiceNow Workspaces to enhance accessibility and usability.
* CMDB, HAM, and SAM Optimization: Enhance Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Asset Management capabilities for better visibility and compliance.
* Dashboard & Reporting Development: Design and refine ServiceNow dashboards to provide actionable business insights.
* Collaboration & Best Practices: Work with cross-functional teams to align ServiceNow solutions with business objectives while adhering to industry best practices.
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer with expertise in ITSM, App Engine, and Workspaces.
* Strong knowledge of CMDB, Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and Software Asset Management (SAM) within ServiceNow.
* Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving issues in a large-scale ServiceNow environment.
* Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub for custom development.
* Experience creating dashboards and reports in ServiceNow.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced support environment.
