Business Analyst – Applications (12-month Contract)

Job Description:

Our Client is the 1st tier financial group, and currently looking for a talent to join its APAC Application Production Services team to manage and support its production system across equities trading business.

Responsibilities

* Deliver 1st and 2nd line support for equity cash, portfolio trading and derivatives trading

* Manage releases and continuous improvement of new and existing applications to the production environment

* Perform analysis and testing of new and existing applications as required

* Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure that issues and defects are reported and meet business requirements and timeline

* Work closely with other support team members across the Asia Pacific region and globally to ensure consistent service delivery and standardisation

* Focus on operational excellence and implementing essential improvements

* Build and maintain relationships with business users and other stakeholders

Requirements

· Bachelor Degree in related disciplines

· Candidates with solid relevant working experience, especially equities background

· Experience in electronic trading & management system

· Experience working in global or local bank or finance groups

· Strong UNIX OS skills

· Strong data analysis skills, with knowledge in oracle, SQL, etc.

· Strong communication and business language skills

· Fluent in English
