IPSAS Accounting Support Services Specialist

ARABIC SPEAKERS REQUIRED

12-month initial contract

I have partnered with a Big 4 Consultancy here in the Middle East which is looking for an Arabic-speaking IPSAS Accounting Support Services Specialist to join them on an initial 12-month contract in Riyadh:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance on the application and implementation of IPSAS.
• Assist organizations in transitioning to IPSAS, including preparing financial statements and policy documentation.
• Gap analyses should be conducted to identify discrepancies between current accounting practices and IPSAS requirements.
• Develop and deliver training sessions for finance teams on IPSAS principles and updates.
• Support the development and documentation of accounting policies and procedures in line with IPSAS.
• Review and ensure compliance of financial reports with IPSAS requirements.
• Stay updated on changes to IPSAS standards and let clients know about them.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in public sector accounting and familiarity with IPSAS.
• Strong understanding of international accounting standards and public-sector financial management.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to deliver high-quality training and advisory services.
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
