Director – Design & Innovation (Gifts/Home Decor)

My client is a leading luxury retailer in the Middle East. They are looking for an exceptional talent to manage their product, category and design.

The Role

· Lead the development of products, ensuring innovative, on-brand product lines that cater to key occasions and customer preferences.

· Develop and maintain a deep understanding of buying preferences across core demographics.

· Translate business briefs into commercially viable product concepts and bring them to life.

· Establish seasonal color palettes, patterns, and product stories to elevate visual merchandising and storytelling.

· Collaborate with external vendors to ensure quality, timelines, and cost-effectiveness.

· Work closely with the category, e-commerce, and marketing teams to align product strategy with business objectives and consumer insights.

· Understand sales performance and customer feedback to optimize existing offerings and inform future product planning.

· Ensure compliance with safety regulations, regional market standards, and quality assurance protocols.
