Job Responsibilities:
- Act as a highly creative, positive, big-idea generator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Confer with clients to determine objectives, background information, and presentation approaches, styles and techniques.
- Proactively contribute to the evolution and success of the client’s business, brand and marketing objectives.
- Work closely with the Creative Head, team members and all other departments to discuss client requirements, presentation concepts and timelines.
- Collaborate closely with the design team, demonstrating and instilling in them a real passion for typography, craft and detail.
- Work closely alongside and support the Creative Head, keeping abreast of all accounts, and ensuring that creative standards are maintained, and deadlines are met at all times.
- Assimilate information and translate it into informative and compelling design.
- Oversee and review all creative work developed by team members and be prepared to present creative to clients for approval.
- Demonstrate a passion for strategic problem solving and utilize a deep understanding of design.
- Committed to relevancy, come up with breakthrough solutions to real problems from strategy to fit and finish.
- Be a resourceful, collaborative team player with a proven ability to perform in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects and developing strong working relationships with internal and external partnerships.
- Demonstrate organization and ability to effectively plan and manage multiple projects by delegating team accordingly to meet the needs at hand.
- Make assertive decisions, ensuring both efficiency and creative quality.
- Maintain a productive, supportive environment for the creative team and provide both creative and technical expertise and leadership.
- Set expectations and standards for creative team attitude, behavior and teamwork through motivation and mentoring.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in design, advertising, communications or related field of study preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of related industry experience, preferably in an agency setting (A few years’ experience in being a senior creative lead or ACD is required).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Mac OS; knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional attention to detail and flexibility in meeting urgent requests.
- Ability to keep up to date with trends in branding, marketing, advertising and related communications industries.
- Ability to become and stay knowledgeable about products and services specific to assigned accounts.
- If from an art background, great art direction and design craft is a must, and if from copy background, great copywriting is a must.
