Head of Design

We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Head of Design to lead our design team and oversee the entire creative process, from initial conceptualization to the production of detailed drawings. The ideal candidate will not only have a strong background in interior and event design but also demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, a knack for driving sales through innovative designs, and a keen interest in the latest design technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire the design team, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
• Oversee the entire design process, ensuring all projects align with client expectations and company standards.
• Develop and implement innovative event layouts and themes that push the boundaries of traditional design.
• Collaborate with the sales team to create design solutions that drive business growth and client satisfaction.
• Stay current with the latest design technologies and software, integrating new tools and methods into the design process.
• Present design concepts and solutions to clients, effectively communicating ideas and addressing feedback.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations.

Key Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience in event design, with a portfolio that showcases a variety of successful projects.
• Previous leadership experience in a design role is highly desirable.

Design Skills:

• Expertise in conceptualizing and developing innovative event layouts and themes.
• Strong knowledge of spatial design, color theory, and material selection.
• Ability to think creatively and translate concepts into effective design solutions.

Technical Proficiency:

• Proficient in 2D and 3D design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Experience with rendering software (e.g., V-Ray, Lumion, D5, Corona, or equivalent) to create realistic visualizations of designs.
• Experience with BIM software (e.g., Revit) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with the latest design technologies and trends.

Leadership and Sales Focus:

• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of designers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
• A focus on driving sales through innovative and impactful design solutions.

Innovation and Technology:
