Senior UX Architect

Role:

The Senior UX Architect is responsible for using data and insights to architect customer experiences across digital and omnichannel.

Is also responsible for developing the strategy for delivering design projects including championing agile/scrum design methods, partnership with technology teams and creating an information architecture.

• Ensure analytical rigour across the assigned projects.
• Lead design problem solving processes, gathering required resource, setting project plans and ensuring effective design solutions.
• Generate highly creative ideas individually and from the he/she is leading.
• Champion agile design methods, encourage team work and collaboration for effective idea generation.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of contemporary user centred design methodologies and educate team members as needed.
• Work on the optimization of design processes such as the creation of personas, storyboards, scenarios, user flows and use cases.
• Act as the user-advocate during the development process, subjecting early-stage designs to usability testing or expert review, and offering implementation suggestions from a user-centred perspective.
• Clear communication with all internal and external stakeholders.

Skills

• Leads User Experience portions of projects – from brainstorming and conception to architecture and training.
• Creates methodology and structure for the collection and use of user experience data.
• Develops effective UX testing methods (A/B testing, qualitative/quantitative, heat maps etc).
• Implements global best practice for web and mobile ecommerce platform architecture
• Ensures correct user persona and user journey analysis and subsequent design
• Clearly communicates with all internal and external stakeholders
• Leads the interface with User Interface designers to produce complete designs and liaises with the development team for product delivery.
