Associate Director FIBD

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Director in Financial Institutions Business Development in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in driving the growth of digital payment solutions and services in collaboration with banks and financial institutions. This position is essential for enhancing market accessibility and fostering innovation within the financial sector.

The Associate Director will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with banks and partners to enhance service offerings for e-commerce merchants.
• Developing and executing channel partnership strategies, including identifying and prioritizing potential partners.
• Negotiating and finalizing partnership deals to drive revenue growth.
• Monitoring and analyzing payment platform metrics to ensure smooth operations and troubleshoot issues.
• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders on new payment initiatives and implementations.
• Ensuring quality and timely execution of project deliverables related to channel integration and optimization.
• Identifying process gaps and driving improvements in payment operations.
• Proactively managing outstanding work items to expedite implementations for payment process enhancements.

Requirements for the successful candidate:

• Over 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in collaboration with financial institutions or the payments industry, preferably in e-commerce or merchant acquiring roles.
• In-depth knowledge of local regulations and compliance concerning payment businesses and cross-border fund movements in the MENA region.
• Proven ability to maintain high efficiency across different MENA countries.
• Strong interpersonal, logical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Capability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changes.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic; Mandarin language skills are a distinct advantage.
