Data Analyst

I am working with a huge technology company in the capital, which is looking for a Data Analyst to join them on an initial 12-month contract:

Responsibilities:

• You have a passion for interpreting data and analyzing results through statistical techniques to provide consistent and insightful reports.
• Driven by curiosity, you dig deep into the numbers to uncover the “why” behind them. You ask the right questions and seek solutions, always seeking new opportunities to enhance processes.
• You excel in developing and implementing databases, data collection systems, and data analytics strategies that enhance statistical efficiency and quality.
• Analytical skills allow you to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns within complex data sets.
• You are adaptable and willing to travel to customer locations as needed.
• Collaboration is key to your success; you work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
• You thrive in ambiguous situations, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
• As a team player, you collaborate with IT and data owners to understand the various types of data collected in different databases and data warehouses.
• You enjoy working in a multicultural and diverse environment, across various geographic locations and cultures, leveraging your strong communication skills to convey and receive information clearly, credibly, and consistently.
• You recognize the importance of effective communication within culturally diverse teams in a multinational company.
• You are open to travel as required by business needs.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Self-driven, motivated and results-oriented with a customer-centric mindset.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data analysis, including a solid understanding of statistical methods and data visualization.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar data analysis tools.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar (experience with ELK is a plus).
• Knowledge of statistics and experience with statistical packages for analyzing datasets.
• Familiarity with cloud technology is highly recommended.
