SAP Group Reporting Techno Functional Lead

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Group Reporting Techno-Functional Lead with strong expertise in SAP BPC and SAP Group Reporting, specialising in financial consolidation and reporting. The role is pivotal in designing, architecting, and delivering finance transformation solutions that align with IFRS standards and integrate seamlessly with S/4HANA Finance data models.
You will work closely with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements, drive solution design, and ensure robust, scalable implementations. This position is ideal for someone who combines technical depth with strong business acumen and stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and facilitate workshops with IT and finance teams to gather requirements and co-design solutions.
• Develop and maintain functional design documents, blueprints, and integration specifications.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS accounting principles throughout solution design and implementation.
• Collaborate with finance and data teams to define master data models, hierarchies, and consolidation logic.
• Contribute to go-to-market activities, proposals, and transformation roadmaps.
• Work with global, cross-functional teams to deliver consistent, scalable, and high-quality solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 15+ years of experience in SAP Data & Analytics with a focus on Finance and Consolidation.
• Deep expertise in SAP BPC and SAP Group Reporting for group financial consolidation.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance data models and master data structures.
• Proven track record of architecting and delivering enterprise-scale SAP finance transformation programmes.*
• Knowledge of IFRS accounting principles and their application in SAP consolidation design.
• Experience leading business workshops and applying design thinking methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior IT and finance leaders.
• Prior experience with global system integrators or Big 4 consultancies is essential.
• Industry experience in retail or automotive sectors is a plus.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages a plus.
