Business Development Specialist

Our client, a cloud-based SaaS platform focused on e-commerce and order management solutions for the F&B industry, is looking for a Business Development Specialist to join their growing sales team in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will drive sales opportunities and play a key part in their growth within the F&B sector.

What you will do:

• Generate new business opportunities to fuel your pipeline via various channels, be it cold-calling, email or visiting targeted restaurants.
• Discover F&B merchants’ potential, identify their challenges and consult them on how you can add value to their business with our range of online & dine-in products.
• Work closely with the onboarding team in coordinating with merchants – to get the merchants to go live within the expected timeline.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clientele in the F&B industry.
• Gather merchant feedback, monitor competitor activities and provide recommendations for improvements to the product development team.

What you should have:

• Sales experience with a proven track record of consistent target achievement. Experience in F&B/F&B eCommerce industry will be advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbally, with the ability to negotiate and convince.
• Solid persuasion and negotiation skill, with sound business acumen.
• Possess a great sense of ownership and take pride in your work
