Data Engineer

If you would like to be part of a growing Data Engineering team while working fully remote from the comfort of your own home, we would love to speak with you. Our client is a Global FinTech company specializing in providing shariah compliant digital financial services to retail customers worldwide.

Your role as one of the pioneer Data Engineers in the company is responsible in building, expanding and optimizing data systems and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow. You will work closely with the data team (based globally) and other internal stakeholders to ensure the data are stored and processed in the most efficient way that meets the needs of the company. Ability to work independently is of the utmost importance to perform well in this role.

Ideal candidate must have at least 1 to 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong programming skill in Python, and SQL. Experience with big data systems, pipelines, architectures, data sets, and ETL tools are a huge advantage.

There are two (2) headcounts for this role – one (1) junior Data Engineer, and one (1) senior Data Engineer.
