The leading digital publisher in Malaysia, representing over 35 top authority brands is looking for a Gerneral manager to harness the power of data and technology to deliver engaging content that matters which is what the company’s vision entails.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead Engineering team to achieve business goals and roadmaps efficiently, including AI development to enhance operational efficiency (Using AI to optimize the existing processes ie content generation- how to use AI tools to work with partners to generate articles , content generation)
• Manage team to meet deliverables within designated timelines, incorporating digital publishing product enhancements.
• Translate business requirements into tech plans with the team.
• Conduct R&D to optimize technology utilization.
• Oversee cloud infrastructure design and system architecture.
• Introduce new tech tools to improve product development.
• Perform performance tuning and code reviews.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to line managers
• Conduct penetration testing for system reliability.

Skills & Requirements

• IT/Software Engineering background.
• Proficient in programming and multiple frameworks.
• Experienced in cloud architecture and automation.
• Demonstrated leadership and team building skills.
• Innovative thinker with risk-balancing capabilities.
• Competent in hardware and software design.
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.
• Enthusiastic about cloud development.
• Willing to learn and take risks with a proactive attitude.
• Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking.
