Software Engineer, Backend

Summary of the position:

You will be part of a productive team responsible for develop & design, implement, delivery & documentation and to support mobile applications.

About the Job:

  • Develop advanced applications with PHP (Laravel/Magento) platforms.
  • Maintain and support existing system.
  • Design and develop web-based applications according to technical and functional specifications.
  • Ensure the quality of component design and coding activities.
  • Provide troubleshooting and solution for existing web-based applications.
  • Produce, maintain and review technical documentation and reports.
  • Implement new technologies to enhance system functionalities and development efficiency.
  • Support and troubleshoot issues on application server.
  • Develop & Implement web based solution.
  • Accomplish projects & given tasks within the timeframe.

    • Job Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years and above of web development experience on PHP and MySQL.
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Strong Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures
  • Familiarity with running large scale web services; understanding of systems internals and networking are a plus
  • Strong understanding of system performance and scaling
  • Required Skill(s): HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, PHP (Laravel / Magento)
  • Experience in the following technologies would be an added advantage: Cryptocurrency, AJAX, CSS, HTML5, web services (SOAP / REST), Facebook App, Ecommerce (Payment Gateway , integration), mobile apps development (Android / IOS).
  • Experience in Command Language is a plus
  • A willingness to explore new technologies.
  • REST API.
