Project Manager – Cloud

Our world-class global client is expanding their reach in the APAC region and is looking to hire a Senior Project Manager to be based in Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead multiple projects simultaneously.
• Collaborate closely with clients to meet project expectations.
• Define project direction, approach, and requirements with strategists, developers, technical architects, product managers, designers, and client representatives.
• Create detailed project plans, schedules, scope statements, and status reports.
• Estimate and track project costs, develop resource plans, and identify potential issues and risks.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring costs remain within or under budget.
• Analyze profitability, revenue, margins, and utilization across projects.
• Develop statements of work, project charters, and other documentation.
• Provide guidance to project and delivery team members.
• Foster long-term client relationships and identify new opportunities with existing clients.
• Recommend process improvements for project delivery.
• Participate in the pre-sales process, including opportunity management and creating responses to RFPs and estimates.

Requirements:

• 3-4 years of Project Management experience, particularly with client-facing project teams and budgets.
• Experience managing projects on cloud-based technologies (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS).
• Ability to estimate project costs, create detailed project plans, and manage teams to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, including Scrum.
• Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
