Senior Data Scientist

Our client is one of the top multinational companies in the world with presence across Singapore, Korea, Japan, China, Europe and more. With a team of more than 20 Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Machine Learning professionals across APAC & Europe, they are currently expanding their KL office and is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join their team! This role will give you the opportunity to work on various projects across APAC.

Salary Up to RM240,000 per annum

What the role is about:

• To work alongside Junior Data Scientists and provide insights, advance technical expertise and more for the Data and Analytics Team
• You will be working on Proof-of-Concept projects, Research & Development and lead various data science projects across APAC
• To drive business results with your data-based insights
• You will be given the opportunity to design, develop and implement projects

To Qualify

• Bachelor or Masters in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
• Minimum of 8 years of working experience with at least 5 years of solid Data Science experience
• Must have strong experience in Data Mining methods using different data tools
• Experienced in building and implementing models and creating algorithms
• Technical expertise in Python or R
• Knowledgeable in a few machine learning techniques like decision tree, clustering and etc
• Handled projects that were impactful to the business/organization
• Experienced in AWS or Microsoft Azure
• Data Visualization experience is a must (Tableau, Power BI or equivalent)
• Ability to present data to stakeholders and decision makers
• Strong communication skills
