We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our dynamic team in an exciting import business. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the sales activities of a small perfectly formed team, developing strategies to drive revenue growth, and building strong relationships within the industry.

What you’ll do:

  • Strategy – Develop and implement sales strategies/tactics to achieve targets and revenue growth.
  • Lead – Inspire, lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales stars providing guidance, training, and support to ensure success.
  • Farm – Build quickly and maintain strong relationships with clients, dealers, distributors, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Hunt – Identify new business opportunities and markets, analyse market trends, and adapt strategies to best affect.
  • Know – Industry trends, competitive pressures, tech advancements, understand and research the market, customer needs, preferences, and buying behaviour to help adapt product offerings and sales strategies.
  • Collaborate – to develop effective promotional campaigns, product launches, and marketing materials.
  • Analyse – monitor sales performance, generate regular reports, and present findings while highlighting areas for improvement and proposing solutions.
  • Attend – trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and expand the customer base across New Zealand.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in consumer electronics managing many SKU’s.
  • Knowledge of consumer electronics, technologies, and market trends.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of building and managing successful sales teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Examples of your ability to interpret data/market research to drive informed decision-making.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet clients, attend industry events, and visit international suppliers.
