Wellington Temporary / 9 Months NZ$51 - NZ$64 per hour

This is a brilliant opportunity for a Contract Manager in Wellington to join one of the largest organisations in New Zealand. This is a major discovery role mainly consisting of understanding what exists in the current environment, and to support this category on a national level. This category is critical as it is laundry, cleaning, food service, orderly – heavy labour based. This role will mainly begin with looking at existing contracts and if any are near expiry, renewal etc. Do you have experience with contract management and passionate about making a difference and improving health outcomes? You can be located anywhere in New Zealand to be suitable for this role.

What tasks will you be doing?

  • Providing support to enable engagement and management of supplier and stakeholder relationships under contract
  • Develop and execute contract management strategies
  • Identify and manage risks that may present themselves during the contract
  • Manage renewals, extensions, pricing reviews

You will have experience with:

  • The whole process of contract management
  • Performance managing a contract/supplier
  • Contract extensions and negotiations
  • Worked in a service based environment – ideally support service (laundry/food etc)
  • Working in the government sector – more of a bonus, not an essential
